You could say that tile is in my veins, as I have been active in the tile
business in Arizona since 1981, following in my fathers footsteps, who is
still in the tile business today. I have been professionally involved in
all aspects of tile and stone including installation, manufacturing, selling
and design.

I am a certified Ceramic Tile Consultant (CTC) and Past President of the
Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA). Over the past several years
I have been consulting, writing, speaking and training all over the world
teaching people how to design & install tile and stone. If you’re
in the flooring business you may have read “Tile Insights”
a monthly column I write for Floor Covering Weekly (floorcoveringweekly.com)
or you may have attended the Ceramic Tile University training sessions
that I teach at the annual Coverings trade show. In each case, the focus
is on how to listen to the customer, and then using a broad knowledge
base, direct the customer to the ideal product that will perform to his
or her expectations.

With the support of my wife and family we made the decision that, in addition
to training, I truly derive a great personal benefit from personal interaction
with customers. There also seemed to be a need in the Scottsdale area
for a different kind of tile and stone supplier.

My personal belief that is that my purpose in this world is to glorify
God the Creator and Redeemer of the world, by enjoying Him forever. I
believe that Jesus Christ created the world and everything in it, and
He is truly the Master Designer. Just as in God’s creation you see
fundamental elements of design such as function, purpose, form, variety
and order we can use these same principles to facilitate good design for
your home. Although people within this company may not necessarily share
my spiritual convictions, customers and employees alike will derive benefit
from the belief that profit is not our sole motivation, but that profitability
is the end result of a well managed company that is focused on principles
and people.
