Doug had been active in all aspects of tile and stone in Arizona since 1980. He was in management for a prominent tile distributor and a leading design center before starting his own company in 1990. He is also an author and international speaker on tile and stone design and has made presentations to salespeople, designers, managers and manufacturers around the world. He founded Villagio Tile & Stone in 2002, with a vision to “Consistently Provide a Great Tile & Stone Experience.”

Design Center Representative Amy graduated from MIS Michigan Technological University in 1986. Amy started in tile sales in 1988 and became a certified Ceramic Tile Consultant (CTC) in 1990. Her passion is exercise, fitness and remodeling homes with her husband. Amy says “The great thing about the tile and stone business is that it’s constantly changing”.

Christine has lived in the Valley of the Sun since 1980 after leaving her roots in Indiana. Her career has been focused on sales and design for the past 10 years. She has worked with home builders, designers and the general public in assisting them with color selections in tile and and stone as well as other related elements. Her main focus at Villagio Tile and Stone is providing good customer service, and creating wonderful design selections that will give the customer years of enjoyment. Christine likes outdoor activities and spending quality time with family.

Rich began his long career in 1980, in Michigan during the two week period they call summer, installing tile around swimming pools. Beginning in retail, to a wholesale sales rep in the Metro Phoenix market was an exciting change from the rigors of installing tile. He moved to San Diego to run a branch office for a large California distributor, and later went to work for a manufacturer of setting materials in the Midwest. He moved back to the Phoenix area 1992 to work for a local distributor. Rich has a vision for the limitless possibilities of using the internet, our site is a representation of how he thinks outside the box to communicate his vision.

Lisa graduated from interior design school in 1981. Lisa's Start in the tile industry began in 1981,Lisa graduated from interior design school in 1981 and became a certified tile consultant (CTC) in 1990. She has experience in virtually every position of a tile distribution center except of course, the warehouse, (although she can drive a forklift in a pinch)! Lisa loves working with customers and helping them achieve their vision

Cheryl has been active in the tile business since 1985. Cheryl has worked in virtually every aspect of the tile business including sales, estimating, accounting, branch management and operations. Cheryl says she has three loves in her life; spending time with her daughter, enjoying a romantic dinner with her husband and traveling the world. Cheryl’s expertise is putting together organizational systems and ensuring that Villagio customers have a great experience throughout the entire process of ordering to delivery.

Garret began installing tile with his father in 1987. Garrett went on to own a tile contracting company with his brother and later began working in tile and stone distribution in 2000. Garrett enjoys weight training and outdoor activities. His focus is on assisting customers with the complete tile experience which includes selection, design, layout and proper installation.
